Ingredients:

  1. Chop the onion and asparagus in little pieces. and heat a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and wait til it is ready - tip is to add a small piece of onion and check for bubbles to form around, that means the olive oil is hot enough to add the rest of onions to saute. Add some salt to taste.

3. Once onions are golden, add asparagus and wait til asparagus are tender.

4. In the meantime bring a large pot of water to a boil. When the water has come to a boil, add a pinch of salt to the water.

5. Cook the pasta according to the package directions till al dente.

6. Once vegetables are tender, add our Zuccato pesto sauce (Asparagus and Almonds) - and mix altogether.

7. When pasta is ready, drain and add it to the veggie mix.

8.  Mix the pasta and add grated parmigiano Reggiano or Grana Padano on top.

9. Chech if salted accordingly to your taste, add a touch of black pepper to taste (optional). Serve immediately.
